Last fall, I attended the Rutgers Homecoming football game vs. Navy. In the midst of all the booths at this event was JACK-FM. Some of the people there sneered at the booth, yelling at the people there "You stole my radio station!" I went them one better. I kept a distance from the booth, and when someone walked past me, I espoused the virtues of Sirius! Now that's a good way to take money from CBS! It was like I was working as a spy for Sirius!

When one of the JACK-FM shopping bags came blowing at me in the wind, I politely handed it back to them. When someone working the booth asked why I didn't want it, I simply told him "I don't need it!" JACK-FM asked to be at this event. Rutgers University did not invite them.

My former girlfriend, who is my age (54) actually liked JACK-FM and tried to make me listen to it in her car! I told her no way would I put up with it, so I switched it to CD101.9. In my car, we listened to Sirius. Just one good reason we're no longer together!
