Charlie-I was a big fan of CBS-FM also going back to the beginning.I agree with you, it was not the same the last few years when they started eliminating pre 1964 music from the regular rotation. They will never be an oldies station like CBS-FM again in its prime. Although I listened to KB and Kool 96.7, CBS-FM was always my number one preset. You never fix something that is not broken and this is what the management did to try to reach the younger Demo's by playing more 70's music and less pre 1964 music. That was wrong. I will be getting Sirius in the future so I can listen to Cousin Brucie and Norm N. Nite. As of now I listen to WLNG which plays a wide variety of Oldies from all era's and the music on my IPOD which has over 7000 songs on it, many of them are oldies. I could not make it to last Saturdays event but I will be attending all future events and I am looking forward to meeting you.
