Yes Rich, I remember listening to OR-FM's first all-time top 300. I was listening at home on Long Island on a freezing cold night in early January, 1968. Not only was I counting down the songs to #1, I was also counting down the temperature to zero! Unfortunately, I don't recall what song was #1! Most likely, it was "In The Still of the Night". If you remember, let me know.

Would this format work today? CBS-FM might still be here if Infinity hadn't tried to fix what wasn't broken!
