Frank B, unfortunately thats the way business is done in 2006. They might have a point if JACK-FM was successful, but as we all know, their ratings are down more than 50% since the flip. CBS keeps agruing a format needs time to catch on, but after more than a year, and to say nothing of the publicity they got by blowing up the iconic CBS-FM, who are they kidding?

CBS Radio must make more taking tax losses than by having stations people actually listen to. Scott Shannon's comment on "Saturday Night Oldies" a few weeks ago was right on the mark, "Better to have old listeners than no listeners!" Makes sense to me! Then again, what do we know? We're just consumers, or listeners.
