Subject: WABC Musicradio on Beatles Breakup

Hi all,
Thanks for putting this website/message board together to keep us fans of CBSFM together!

For fans of the WABC MUSICRADIO, can I ask you to jog your memories?

I was listening to some airchecks on the WABC musicradio website today from 1971 and was wondering how the air personalities handled the Beatles breakup? Even though by then, the Fab 4 had been broken up for a year, I would think this may have still been an issue to be dealt with. Or even prior to that. I'm most curious about comments from Brucie and Ingram might have passed during playing the intro or outro of the solo Beatles records. I noted that John's "OH YOKO" from the "Imagine" album was listed as an 'album cut' they were playing - they must have had some fun with that!
