Subject: wcbs fm air checks

I was a wcbsfm fanatic,I used to tape the station almost every day at least for a short time every day.I taped some of the specialty shows in their entirety,such as the top 20 countdown,the Brown Bag,the top 500 countdown,Bob Shannon's lost hits,etc.I edited the commercials out of most of these tapes,but I have many tapes completely unedited.I am most proud of what I call the "Best of Bob Shannon and Al Meredith".These are 5 60 minute audio tapes of what I consider the best of the funny,off beat,pun filled stories Bob and Al did at the end of the 5PM and 6PM news casts,Al was the straight man reading a news story and Bob would make a funny comment or pun on the story.These tapes are edited,commercials are deleted.If anyone out there wants to hear these tapes,please e-mail me with your name and address and I will try to mail whatever tapes I can find that you might want to hear.
