The format has been on the air for nine months. Besides, the STRATEGY isn't wrong -- replace a format that advertisers shun with something more likely to appeal to the demographics they want. NY is hardly the only market where it's happened.

"uniformed and unqualified" is a lot of blather. It's a fact that most advertisers are not interested in the 50+ listeners. They could be dead wrong, but they set the rules and spend the money.

All revenue amounts for CBS-FM are conjecture. I personally don't think they were anywhere near the oft-quoted $34 million when the format was killed, but I don't know that. Until there are verifiable facts, I'm not speculating on revenue.
