I live in Coal Country PA. Here, a 'rally' is when a team scores a touchdown and comes from behind to win.

So let me put this as diplomatically and carefully as I can:

I think the fired DJ's and professional cohorts should be the ones to organize any impacting rally, if there is to be one. That way, there probably won't be another Hundred Listener March.

This board laments their departure as well as the music's departure. The DJs, and their brethren at satellite and other suburban stations, are also better connected musically and can bring in acts and bigger crowds than any requestline caller. I think the vision of a rally is far more the responsibility of the Lamented more than any working listeners'. And rallies become page 12 stuff quickly, if it winds up on any page next day). One-of-a-kind concerts don't.

I'll take a day off from work and drive 140 miles for a true event. I won't drive 140 miles to do the same thing I can do right here in front of the computer.

72 shopping days left for chinos, garrison belts, Dippidy-Doo and gum.
