I think this was 1984 or 1985, Dan Daniel was the morning man on WYNY. The program director replaced him with a couple of clowns called Harris and Harris. WYNY was never the same after this move. At that point in time WYNY was my #1 station with WCBS-FM as #2. I then switched to Harry Harrision and hardly listened to WYNY after that. WYNY played a good blend of currents and oldies, but the series of program directors killed the station. On July 1, 1987 it flippled to country and a year later moved to 103.5 FM on the dial.
