CBS-FM was not at its peak when they changed formats because of the change in its playlist, change in DJ's. etc. Yes, stations are looking for a young audience can still work if it is done right. Yes, it is easier to sell a younger audience but CBS-FM was making money when it dropped oldies. It is more than I can say for Jack with its poor ratings. As for Ingram, If I sounded like he does when I am 71 years old I will be happy. He is still the greatest DJ that ever lived. I get the feeling after reading your post and seeing your email address that you work for Jack. There is still an audience for oldies in New York. This is more than I can say for Jack. That is all I have to say.
