Subject: I disagree 100 per cent Braneka was very memorable & in the begining Global Beauties had her no 4 on there favourites list. No Miss Bahamas has every done that before. International observers & fans loved Braneka. She definatly did not fade. She sparkled all the way & made her mark. Regardless Braneka did an outstanding job but pre-predictions or a few days after the real contest starts GOES SOLELY ON LOOKS. The main thing Looks can carry you somewhere but if you dont bring what the organization is offering then you will fade. Braneka is a Miss World type of girl! She set the trend for future Queens at both Miss Universe & Miss World. Our Miss Bahamas Queens have been setting the trends & being noticed since way back in 60's & 70's. In 1963 it nots that Miss Bahamas Sandra Louise Young was a favourite & expected to make the semi-finals. In 1972 its says Miss Bahamas Deborah Taylor was a favourite & expected to made the semi-finals. At the end of the day there can only be 15 semi-finalists & its all up to the Judges & the MU org. So stop this foolishness about a Queens not pushing herself enough saying she faded. No wonder our Queens don't do well. We need to support our Queens & encourage them.
