Subject: Hi Vanessa. The question that comes to mind is why do you feel like a prisoner? You are not caged, so something is making you stay. He might be happy in the relationship and has no intention of leaving. You however are not. You cannot expect him to make a move that you want for your life. That is not taking responsibility. So examine why you stay and remember that you cannot control anyone's life but your own. That includes hoping that he will leave to end YOUR pain. Hope this helps.
