I talked with Bob Doszak in Cleveland over Thanksgiving weekend, and he said that the city of Naperville did not approve the construction of the new ballroom. But I don't think that should discourage anyone from attending, because the existing ballroom is big -- more than adequate for the polkafest.

The lineup this year is one of the best that's ever been, with top bands from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Kansas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Walter Ostanek (who just had a street named after him) from Ontario.
