The "electronics box" isn't very big on this unit because everything is in the handset...so it tucks nicely out of the way inside the left fairing... Presently I have the handset 'hanging' on a CB Clip just under the 'door' for the stock CB. I would like to find a way to put it on the handlebar because the speaker is hard to hear down there and I don't use a headset. Guess I could always run a remote speaker (there is an ext. spkr. jack on the box) but it would be easier to grab if it was mounted higher. This is my major concern with this sort of setup, the need to use your 'free hand' to grab the CB and talk...not a big deal, but certainly not something easy to do in local traffic or at a stop light. One of these days I'm gonna fashion a remote microphone and push-to-talk button on the handlebar...one of these days. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
