I have been using Mobile 1 Synthetic (10W30) in my 2000 Voyager since I passed about 10000 miles. I have seen no ill effects, no clutch slipping, no leaks, no drips, no runs, no errors. The oil lasts a lot longer and seemed to have quieted the engine noise just a touch. I would guess most sythetics have varying properties but are similar in makeup. One thing I've heard is to not use synthetics that have certain additives to improve the lubrication properties because the clutch sits in the same oil bath. I haven't had a problem with Mobile 1 so I would guess it's ok...many people have recommended Amsoil and a few others. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
