Yesterday, there was a wonderful showing of love and affection for Ray Walls. About seventy people showed up at his service, the chapel was full. Afterward the Moose Lodge provided lunch. There were present and passed members of the NorCal Voyagers Club. It was nice to learn how much Ray cared for the NorCal Voyagers Club. Betty Walls was sad to lose her husband, but seemed relived that Ray wasn't suffering anymore. The California National Guard presented the colors to Betty. They presented a 21 gun salute and played Taps for Ray Walls.

NorCal Voyagers Club will be presenting Betty a Flag Case. Betty can display the Colors (flag).
About a month ago Ray sent me an email that his lungs, were giving out. Then during the Christmas Party weekend Bill Burns stopped by to visit Ray. Bill was telling me that Ray couldn't sleep. If Ray would sleep he would stop breathing. That Sat morning I tryed calling Ray to see if I could come by and visit. There was no answer, later I found out that Ray had gone to the hospital. For the next week and a half Ray was in and out of the hospital. Until the end December 22, 2010 at 4pm.
