Yes hope to see you in Kanab this July. About the V17 I've just got over 1900 miles on it and it's beginning to loosen up a bit. The biggest thing to get over is the V-twin vibration, next is that my inseam is only 29" and those floor boards are a long way away. The fairing has better protection then the 12, even in the cold we had a few weeks ago I was able to stay warm.
The engine gobs of torque, and the more miles I ride it seems to be more power. I've only rev'd it to 5,000 rpm once and it seemed ok. I like the six speed, and the fuel injection. In the morning all I have to do is push the starter button and it idles by itself. The frame is stout and so it doesn't flex when in turns, the brakes are what the V12 needed.
Overall I'm happy with the V17, I just forgot how much work goes into making a new motorcycle fit me. And chrome it adds up, and I'm starting all over again.
