Oh honey, you don't fail at life. Why would you think that? You have more courage than most people I know, you have been fighting this fight for so long and even when it gets really bad (which I know it has) you don't give up. You are really a much stronger person than you think, I am not sure I could have survived what you have been through. Every day you get up and you go through your day...yes it's hard for you but you do it. That's what counts. Let me tell you what I see...I see a woman who has been subjected to tortures that most human beings couldn't withstand, who gets up every day and takes care of business whether she feels like it or not because she feels responsible to get it done. I see a woman who refuses to give up on the person she knows deep down inside she really is, the woman that has survived the brainwashing and the abuse and struggles every day to heal and doesn't ever give up on herself. I see a woman who is going through hell who still always has time when a friend (that would be me) is going through a hard time, someone who always has a kind and supportive word for others even when she doesn't have any for herself. You say you are a failure at life? No, honey you are most definitely NOT a failure. Not the way I see it. The world is a better place for me because there is Karen in it. I know it's hard to see that from your perspective right now but please just know that you really do make a difference.
