How are you both doing today? Karen, please don't let what your therapist says determine how you feel about yourself. It is always a matter of interpretation when they say something to you. I think asking her for clarification is a great idea. I disagree that you have no voice...I think it's possible that what she meant by that is that you have been trying to please and take care of everyone elses needs for so long that you have forgotton about taking care of YOU. I am so proud of the progress that you have made...I have been with you for almost the entire time that you have been working on this and I have seen tremendous changes in you. You can't see it as clearly because you are too close to the issue but believe me when I say this...you are making so much progress. Keep up the good work, Karen will emerge from all of this...stronger, and able to deal with anything life dishes out. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF...I DO!

Hey, Chell...you know the same thing applies to you. You were not really even dealing with all of these issues when you and I first met. Just talking a little with strangers on the net about it, but not really getting to the core issues. I have seen a lot of change in you too. You are one strong and determined lady and I have faith that you will also come out of this far more capable of caring for Chell than you are now. I had a little chuckle when I read the part about being grounded from your room. I can so identify with the hiding in the room bit...I used to be an expert at it. I wish you luck with that. I hope that both of you have a peaceful, calm and nontriggering day today.
