Let me start by saying I am so proud of Meg! I do believe if ranking were still in place she would have been our next Miss America. Now with this new scoring system, which of our contestants do you think have the best shot of winning Miss America?

I say Callie Walker, Jessica Proctor, or Brianna Kinsey.

(No hateful comments please)

I don't think her talent is good enough. Callie, Briana, or Cassidy get my vote

Callie after a few years.. she needs to age a little bit because she looks so young. We need new contestants... new faces.. new chances. Jessica has a strong chance of placing high at Miss America. I don't feel that way about Briana.

Please don't start the race argument again. I agree Meg would have won if it there was a ballot. I think Brianna has the best chance right now.

I dont feel that way about Jessica, she is so boring, so big and just dont have a body for a pageant or being real. She is one way with adults and another way with the contestants.

Jessica and Brianna both have the bodies you saw on the television the other night. They are well-toned with real hips, thighs, and butts. They both look great in swimsuits.

The beautiful girl from Oregon/Washington. She's been in Miss A 2x. Has everything to win. If someone can help her that would be amazing--she's just so lovely. I've never met her, but I've been watching her for the last 2 years. She's talented and beautiful. She was her state's winner for Jr Miss.

The AL board prefers home grown Alabama girls. If you're referring to Boni Yraguen, she has great potential but they won't choose her because she's not a SoUtHERn dADdy's GiRL from Bama.

Caitlin was an exception because of her famous NFL daddy.

This type of format is built for people like Briana and Haley, they are consistent. Meg won Miss AL because of ranking, had this system been in place last year Briana would have been our Miss AL. Jessica P is too weak in talent and her SS needs a little work. Callie is too weak in interview and is too young right now. They made a mistake by sending her to MAOT her first year so they should have learned from that experience. I'm glad the ranking system is out, judges can no longer cheat for who they want.

Does anyone think KeLeigh will do better this year? This is her 4th or 5t5th time isn't it and she placed well before until the last two.

Chassidy doesn't have a chance because the board prefers Alabama born girls... exception to Caitlin Brunell because she's privileged...

Everyone has a fair chance actually. The board doesn't tell judges please don't pick a girl because they're from another state. That said, it should be interesting this year with the new format. The ONLY way Mia Callens will ever win Miss AL is if she plays the piano. She can NOT win singing and playing. How hard is it for her to understand? Just play the piano! Our best choices this year are Briana and Haley. Briana is the best of the two. Briana need a dynamic eg and she need to work on swimsuit, her stomach need some work.

I agree. Briana gets better every year and I've always thought she had a good swimsuit, because of her height and build. If she could tone a little more I think she could be a double prelim winner. I also like Keleigh but she never feels warm to me. I don't know how she could fix that. Hayley's good too but she still has a teen vibe with that talent.

I honestly root for M'ia every year and want her to go to Miss America, but she has got to go to piano or just singing, period. She is one of those girls I think that if she were in another state, like NY or even GA, she would have already won. And I can even see her going far in USA. Other than talent, I do not see what is holding her back.

Who isn't enjoying Meg's year? She is terrific! However, prelims have begun again and with that it is only natural to be anticipating how the competitions will unfold and who will receive the amazing opportunities of Miss Alabama following Meg. It's because we are enjoying Megs year that lots of young ladies would like for Meg to crown one of them next. So it's natural to discuss what it will take to accomplish that goal.
