| Subject: Re-Scheduling the Rained Out May 2nd Showdown | |
Author: Randy Hipp [Edit] |
Date Posted: Mon, 25 May 2009, 21:50:21 The decision has been made that the May 2nd Race will be made up on June 6th, which would have been the next scheduled race date. We will have Jr's running at this race just as always but the big Jr race is going to be postponed till August 1st, we will adjust the flyers and get the word out about that. All the payouts and entry fees will be exactly the same as they were on the May 2nd flyer and we will adjust the date on these flyers as well. To all those that made the trip to race with us, Thank You Very Much and I assure you that we were as disappointed that it rained as anyone. To all you guys that support us all year long Thank You Very Much for being there as always! We hope this date will work for as many of you as possible and you can and will come back and race with us. We realize that with any date we choose there are going to be conflicts, however one of the reasons for choosing this date is to keep it fair to those who race and support us every month on the newly adopted race on the 1st Saturday of every month format. This date was already on the calendar so they should already be planning to attend. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] Replies:

Author: Randy Hipp [Edit] |
Date Posted: Mon, 04 May 2009, 15:04:21 I have been in contact with Larry and Ray this morning and it appears as though the rain chances at Prescott for Saturday have decreased so at this point the Race is ON! Here is the deal, from talking and watching the forum it appears as though this will not be an issue but due to the possibility of the weather affecting some racers decision to come there will be a minimum car count in affect (Super Street 10.5- Min 16 cars, Real Street – Min 8 cars). Please spread the word that the race is on to all the racers and also please spread it to everyone you can to get them to come watch and support this race. For it to continue and we hope it does it needs to be a huge success [ Post a Reply to This Message ] Replies:

Date Posted: Tue, 31 Mar 2009, 22:32:31 It is quite difficult to get an elderly or handicapped person to a place where they can see the action if only the pit side is open, especially if they are in a wheel-chair. Supposedly, the spectator side would be open at the last race, but that was only for folks who could walk over there from the pit side. Please open it this race if possible. Thanks !
