As time progressed, word spread of his strength eg killing a tigron with bare hands, freeing himself from an octosac, doing arena battle, fighting an orangopoid, taking on gockos, creatures, strong men. This in addition to surviving much torture. Despite our opposing sides, I admired Gordon for bravery, fairness, learning skills and knowledge. Ming must have also been impressed. He made offers asking Gordon to join, but to no avail. So, the battle continues.
