Eastern time (PAGEANT DATE IS JUNE 7-9th). When I post on this board "I am now taking entries" please e-mail me the following. 1-Contestants name (boy or girl) 2-Age (day of pageant) 3-Date of birth 4-Contact number 5-Parent or legal guardian 6-Tee shirt size. PLEASE put contestants age (day of pageant) on subject line. We will only allow 12 per age group. When I receive your e-mail and everything is correct, I will send you an e-mail saying "confirmed". If your group is full, your e-mail will say "waiting list number 1-?". Cost for pageant will be $250.00, that will cover the entire pageant, crowning tee shirt plus all family members and friends you wish to bring to the pageant. Only thing this does not cover is jackpots and showdown events. All fee's must be paid within 10 DAYS of confirmation. These fees are NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE. Is there anyone who is going to Christmas Pageantfesr that does NOT have a room at Main Stays and are having to stay at another hotel? I need to know how you plan to get your dd ready... Is there a dressing room available at Mainstays? I'm sick over waiting too late to get a room! Help me please! :(

We stay at a different location than the Mainstay....The lady that does my DD H/M has a private room and I get both my DD ready in that room.

I do not think there is a dressing room, but may be wrong, we always stay there...have seen kids getting ready in h/m rooms

There is a dressing room furnished at the hotel. It's by the indoor pool.

There are bathrooms close to the ballroom also. Maybe you could change there. Or maybe the h/m artist would let you change in their room/bathroom...

It is not needed for pf but does help sometimes if you do have a routine. Some win with and some win without. I don't really think they count off for them. Because it is total glitz.

Routines are expected in the 5 and up groups. There is a modeling score in 5 and up.

Pageantfest update -- Billy Newsom, 11/12/12 5:40:41pm [11]

Due to a major glitch with yahoo on entry night. Some entries that was sent in at 7:00 and 7:01 did not get to me until late Monday night, and an additional 53 arrived Tuesday morning. I was able to work everyting out in all groups except 5's. The only fair way is to split the 5's. There will be an A and B group with age division supreme and queen in each group. They will be split just like I do the younger groups (youngest in A oldest in B). Do not know the exact number in each group (would guess around 8-10).

then have a supreme breakdown like the 3A 3B 4A 4B group. You could have 5A 5B 6A 6B. Lots of girls in those age divisions so just a thought.

There will be 5A (12 youngest) and 5B group (12 oldest). Each group will have a age division supreme and age division queen. I have also added an additional pageantfest supreme in the 5-8 supreme breakdown due to the increase numbers.

They know what to look for because they have been doing it a long time. If you look at their comments objectively and make improvements in those suggested areas then you will start to see improvement in where your daughter places. Of course people say their favorites will win but that is just not the case. Usually the deserving girls win.

Circuit judges are the best to have at total package pageants. Many say that they have their favorites but those that win all the time truly are the best. Those "name" girls win when there are no circuit judges. I have been to pageantfest more than once and the winners are always spot on. Do not worry this wont be a fair pageant because this IS one of the fairest pageants out there and the judges he uses TC WB etc judge your dd based on how they do that day.. they are very fair and grest to get advice from.

Crowns and awards does all kids no matter what they win get a custom crown or its a small one or what?

They get a tiara style crown. All in the group get the same great gifts (usually 3 or 4). Supremes will get another gift when they are crowned separately.

Usually its just a different crown. I believe only queens and supremes get custom pf crowns.

I think most 0-2 and 3-4 winners were listed on here a while back...but I have no idea about the others as we never stay for the 2nd crowning

I am so unimpressed with the host hotel! I had forgotten to book for Friday night since we have our time share hotel we are staying at the rest of the weekend it has slipped my mind! Well I called as soon as I remembered I needed to book Friday night. I talked to a lady said she had a room for me started giving her my info and my phone went out. I called back 20 mins later when I charged it she was soo rude to me and preceded to tell me she had sold all the rooms they had in that 20 mins. I of course didn't really believe that as she was soo rude. So I tried calling back but have been ignored put on hold then hung up on several times. I am very upset, has anyone else ever had an issue with the hotel? I just don't get how she went from descent to mega rude. It wasn't like I was prank calling just trying to book a room.

I would say the lady was telling the truth. I booked there last room they had last night. She told me they would be taking a waiting list.

We have been to PF 4 time, never a problem with the hotel. Great hotel. I would suggest you get on waiting list as they will have cancellations.

its always the same for bottoms, any type of white bottoms, skirt-shorts-pants are okay...haven't head what color the shirts are yet, but we'll probably just get Christmas colored bows made :)
