Subject: Time for a new school. My DD stopped dancing when she graduated up to the "premier" teacher. It took a few years for her to start dancing again. It's not worth itt to keep her with a yelling teacher.
In reply to: concerned mom 's message, "My 8 year old loves Irish Dance and has been doing really well. She told me tonight that when her TCRG yells at her that she is really scary. I have had talks previously that my daughter get scared to even dance for fear of being yelled at. When she was younger, I would raise my voice and she'd cry because I "yelled" at her. Any suggestions? I don't like her feeling scared to go to dance class." on 19:44:13 09/08/17 Fri

  • In 9 1/2 years at our school, the ADCRG has never held at the dancers. If your dancer is sensitive to that (mine are) then switch schools. (NT) -- ., 10:05:31 09/10/17 Sun
