I have been dancing 10 years and you used to always be able to hang you dress for free, but there was no one watching it. Some feiseanna would provide dress racks, but that was just so you didn't hang the dress on hotel fixtures. As for you pay so much to get there, what does 10 or 20 bucks make, well people are tired of being nickled and dimed. 10 or 20 bucks is a lot to hang a dress. That's a few days of lunch!
