Subject: Actually your logic is flawed. To calculate the percentages correctly you will need a comparison between the total numbers that attended from each state , the number of repeat attendees, the number of those that did not return this year, new attendees, and finally podium placers. In addition, comparing one year to another year is flawed as well, the best results will be a comparison of at least the last five years, preferably ten years. This will probably provide a result significantly lower than yours. Now please do not take this to mean that the altitude did not provide an edge to those who practice in it, it will, but not at the percentages you provide. Thank you, An Insurance Actuary
