Do we really need every team in the US going, just because it's here? The Worlds should be a special level of acheivement for the top teams to compete against each other, not just another feis that anyone can attend if they can afford it. Don't diminish the event with 100s of teams that end up in ties & diluting the points. This is more prestigious than the O's & NANs. -- Western U.S. Region Irish Dancers

Yes, we all need to experience the feeling of dancing on a worlds stage when it's here in the U.S. because many will never get the opp again!     - Go to the AIs for the experience, but go to the Worlds because you qualify. If you qualify as a soloist, by all means go. But put some rules around the teams. Ceili's at the Worlds have a recall & dance another round. How many days do you want the event to be if every region sent 100 ceilis in every age group because they all danced at their O's.
