Subject: Yes, I recall that every U12 that made the recall got the NANs certificate.

  • Your TC has to enter her, and the entries were due on May 1st. I believe the registrar verifies the eligibility. It's hard to think that a paper given in error would qualify the dancer. Hope this all works out for all concerned. (NT) -- best of luck to all dancers, 08:58:12 05/10/08 Sat
  • Will they be verified based on the formula? Were the certificates that were given out personalized and recorded somewhere? We also know people going based on the erroneous certificate. Also, wouldn't you think other regions would be upset that we're sending those who didn't qualify according to the rules? (NT) -- Bad situation, 12:23:37 05/10/08 Sat

  • Yes, there were errors in certificate distribution. It is difficult for the teacher to be the bad cop and strip the child of her certificate at time of entry when it was given to her by the awards people. It is a demoralizing at best. It should never have happened. I think an official list should be mailed to teachers after to prevent this type of mishap. There were some large competitions that they all got them, and some smaller ones that barely any got them. It was clear something was amiss. (NT) -- Oppsies, 11:37:59 05/28/08 Wed
