Subject: Yes, that's exactly what I think. Frankie redeemed himself in my eyes, and his family and the staff at the furniture company were the ones who benefited. He never got to know how much of a hero he really was. My heart broke for Agnes. Very good book, a little more intense than The Mammy. I'm so glad Manny got his just deserts.

  • Manny just bugged the crap out of me and I thought he was such a slime ball. I'm glad he got what he did! I do think that Frankie took the papers to tye to make up for all the wrong he had done. He may have hit rock bottom or knew he was going to soon and still had something in him that told him the right thing to do before his end came. (NT) -- Tracy, 14:06:54 06/20/09 Sat
  • I enjoyed this book and found that they are short but packed a punch. I finished The Granny last night and enjoyed it just as much. (NT) -- Tracy, 14:07:39 06/20/09 Sat
