Subject: At first glance, it might appear Brendan O'Carrol is saying Irish children revere their mothers, but then there are those like Mrs. Sheridan (the little old lady Buster & Dermo "awarded" the raffle money to) who sacrifices all for her children, who then don't bother to come and see her once they're successful. I do think it's partly economic, partly comfort -- many young adults are living at home today for those reasons -- and partly because at the time, most people didn't move out of their parents house until they moved into their first married home.
