Subject: The Granny: Chapters 21 - 24

- Agnes finds out that Dermot has Cormac and is disappointed that they will be going to stay with Trevor instead of her.

- Dermot finds Cormac to be talkative and inquisitive.

- Dermot gives a modified "birds and the bees" explanation ("lots of love to give") I thought it was a lovely story. :-)

- Dermot gets caught up with Trevor and Maria. Then Cormac comes down from bed and asks where his Mammy is. (Broke my heart, poor kid!)

- Dermot tells the dragonfly story (another amazing tale) and Trevor and Maria see an instant children's book.

- At Pierre's 60th birthday party, Betty announces she's pregnant with her second child. She worries aloud about a long labor, to which Agnes replies: "Don't talk to me about long deliveries. I was so long in labor on me fourth that they had to shave me twice!" This comment cleared the room of all the men! *g*

- Two of Agnes children are having relationship issues: Cathy leaves Mick and Rory & Dino break up.

- Within three years of the Dragonfly book, Dermot is a successful children's author and living comfortably. Unfortunately, he has still not spoken with Agnes.

- Dermot surprises Buster by buying the main house attached to the gatekeepers’ house Buster wanted. The two friends a happily reunited.

- Buster surprises Dermot by introducing Cathy as his girlfriend. *g*

- Agnes and Dermot have a near miss at the Pub. Agnes goes after the man who bought the round once she realizes that the tattoo of B.H.G. stood for the Boot Hill Gang. As she gets up to go, Agnes collapses.
