Subject: My heart just broke for both Dermot and Agnes at the Pub. I know her words were said in hurt and anger, rather than truth, but still is must have cut deep for Dermot. I had no idea who Cathy's lover was until we saw the little girl playing outside the gatehouse.

  • All the various turn of events were so satisfying, although maybe just a bit too good to be true. I was very happy for Dermot and Trevor's success, and thrilled that Cathy had the strength to actually leave that wicked husband of hers. Was so hoping for a reconciliation in the pub. The ending was heartbreaking. We had a similar situation in our family, as Larry's grandmother hung on until the last grandchild made it to her bedside, then she finally let go.
