Subject: I really enjoyed this series and will keep it on hand to share with others. I thought this ending was good, although very sad. I thought the inclusion of humor with the conversations with Marion were so appropriate and made the sadness just a little less. Now Agnes would be with her best friend. I was grateful that Dermot set his pride aside and showed at the hospital. I wish he would have made up with Agnes earlier, but at least he didn't have to live with the guilt of not being at her side at the end. Thank you, Carla, for suggesting these books!

  • The story Dermot created about the dragonfly is so lovely, it really should be a children's book! I can just picture Agnes as a dragonfly, flitting from friend to friend in heaven. And just think of all she's been saving up to tell her late husband! Very sad to see Agnes go at such a young age, but I'm not sure the story should have ended any other way.
