Subject: Ch 49/1) I can on some things, but other times I just can't. I think it takes a special kind of person to be able to do that. My DH is adept at this. He's found a way to compartmentalize the horrors he seen/done and acknowledge them as having happened, but not something that need to impact his daily life. It's definitely something you have to work at and I'm thinking Jamie's got a lot of experience in this area.

  • Ch 50/1) I think Jamie and Gregor are both survivors. They have been in different situations, but they have figured out how to survive as best as they can. They are also leaders - one out of fear and the other out of compassion, but leaders just the same. They also have connections and know how to work situations to their benefit (similar to survival, I guess *g*). Q2. Yeah, I feel sorry for Violet, but I'm suspicious.
