Subject: 'Tis a mystery. I have to cultivate patience as a writer, because they only tell me the story when they are ready. At the end of 'Mermaid' I had a clear vision of Casey shutting the door on their house- telling me to go away for a bit, they would come back and continue the story when they were good and ready. That's just how the process works for me. If I tried to make it up, it would show and I don't think people would love the story quite in the way that so many seem to.
In reply to: Denise 's message, "I still find it 'funny' that you don't know these things and are waiting for the ideas to present themselves to you :-) If you don't know, then it's a 'mystery'. (Cue in the voice of Geoffrey Rush in 'Shakespeare in Love')" on 12:38:08 07/27/12 Fri
