Subject: (68/1) Have to go along with what Carla said. Seemed like it was meant as a test, but somewhere along the line something went awry. (68/2) I don't really think David's in a position to extricate himself anymore. Maybe he never was. His sympathies are now staunchly on the 'wrong' side. He's in a very dangerous position. I like him so much, but fear for him. (69/1) Our heroes are not infallible. If they were, the story wouldn't be nearly as gripping. Despite all their many gifts, the characters we love so much are human after all. I feel that I meet them eye-to-eye at times of vulnerability, but it also frightens me. (69/2) Pamela is a wise woman. She knows the impact that Pat has on her sometimes reactive husband. Casey is a man of great passion, as is Pat. The difference is that Pat is usually more methodically in his reactions to events.
