Subject: (82/1 & 2) Interesting questions, Carla. I think that Pat was able to let go at this moment in time because he is so comfortable with Kate; he loves her, even if he hasn't fully admitted it to himself yet. It was probably as good a time as any for Kate to profess her love for Pat, but you have wonder if he's thinking about what kind of life might await Kate if she is linked to him. After all, the other two people who have professed to love Pat are now dead from violence.
