Subject: (88/1) Personally, I think it's good to be able to let go, to give oneself the freedom to feel, let the emotions wash over as they will. He's been so tightly wound up, and feeling responsible for the wayward crew, that giving in to these thoughts at a private moment isn't such a bad thing at all. (88/2) Don't know how to answer, but I'm sure Cindy knows why wolves play frequently in the story :-) Wolves have been given a bad rap throughout literature, and sometimes it is justified.

  • (89/3) I believe he's protecting Kolya by claiming him as his son. Andrei's son could be taken and returned to the Russian government, but a son of an Irishman has different rights. I expect Yevgena will know the truth someday, but for now, it's safer for all if Kolya is known to be the son of Jamie. (NT) -- Denise, 10:20:48 08/04/12 Sat
  • I felt that, for all intents and purposes, he was Jamie's son at this point. Jamie was the one who was there from the day he was born, his bio. father was not. Plus, yes, it's safer for Jamie to claim him as his own just now. But in his heart, Kolya is most definitely his son. (NT) -- celtgirl, 10:40:56 08/04/12 Sat
