  • (87/1) I'm certain Jamie loved Violet, but I don't think he was *in love* with her. Within the confines of the prison camp, they were grateful for - and benefited by - having each other. Who was to say just how long they would be locked up in that camp anyway. Death was likely on their minds daily. Their relationship had to be impacted by that alone.
