Subject: I think in her present state of euphoria, Philippa just gave a knee-jerk response without thinking it through. I really do not think she could marry a man for whom she had once changed nappies! Nor do I think she could live that kind of lie. I do believe, however, that if Lymond had been killed, she would have devoted her life to Kuzum's care and well-being. (My response to the question is down below, but I put them all inside.)
