• Q2. I think part of her reason may be to keep Nicholas sweet. She knows he wants to get Catherine out and away from Doria, so it's something she can do. They want to be able to control him, and use his skills for Venice, so in exchange this is something relatively easy she can do. Plus she may enjoy doing something to hurt Doria. • Q1. He's brilliant, he's unpredictable and those traits make him fascinating to watch. He's kind to people too, especially those that need kindness. But he has an incredible flare for vengeance too. He's clearly putting out a vibe to women that he's great in bed too, and they respond accordingly. So it was time then to get themselves ready to go into the Sultan's camp, hence Nicholas' bout of marsh fever, so that he could conveniently disappear for a few days without anyone questioning his absence. • Q1) I think there are people who are just attractive to both sexes. He's got that "something" - whether its is brains, his looks, his swagger, etc. I don't think I've read enough (or maybe understood enough *g*) about Nicholas to see the full sexiness Cindy speaks of.
