Subject: q1) Maybe the others regard Julius as being too much on the inside, too close to the family. And Nicholas is part of that family, too. Julius himself seems to prefer staying on the fringes. I can see how the others might feel he's not really 'one of them.' q2) Yes, because she seemed to adore him. But she grew up so much during this horrible experience with Doria, and she needed to divorce herself from all reminders of it. I like what Cindy said about her willfulness eventually becoming a strength. q3) Good question! How humiliating he must have felt, to die with the eyes of his rival/enemy trained on him. A fitting ending for such a despicable little toad.

  • Q1.I think Julius at times is still thinking of Claes the apprentice, and not Nicholas, the head of this leg of the Charetty company. He's had a far different relationship with Nicholas compared to the others and it is reflected in his behaviour. (NT) -- Denise, 08:37:26 10/11/11 Tue
