I was really torn about this question - on one side I think he's got a wonderful relationship with his mother and a great amount of security. But there is so much he doesn't know or experience that helps him grow and mature. there are so many times as a mother that I wish I could protect my children from the ills of the world, but on the other hand there are lessons to learn and growth to be had in those experiences.
