Subject: Q1) I agree with both Elaine and Cindy on #1. Q2) I believe he is committed to Marion first and foremost. I also believe he wants to be seen in a better light (either by others or by himself) than the old Claes that was enjoying all the women he could. I also think he is more hesitant after what happened with Katelina. I think he learned some hard lessons there.
