So, since you're desperate to prove the invasion of Iraq was on the up-and-up, you are stating categorically that every member of Congress is lying, since the Congress, with very few exceptions, voted to give your Ersatz Cowboy his war authorization. I wonder if: a) each member of Congress and your hero knew about the KH-11 and the Lacrosse synthetic aperture radar or b) if, at the very least, some members of the House and Senate Intelligence Committees had the necessary clearances to see what should have existed, i.e., imagery of Saddam's alleged reconstituted nuclear weapons facilities.

You are doing a typical Bushie kubuki dance in order to justify Bush's decision to invade a nation which posed NO THREAT to the US. Worse, soon after the Afghan Taliban was defeated and Rumsfeld failed abysmally to nail bin Laden at Tora Bora, military and intelligence assets were removed in order to ready them for the long-planned invasion of Iraq.

Afghanistan, whose Taliban gave refuge to bin Laden and his Al Qaeda plotters, was permitted to revert to warlordism and to grow opium poppies. The country produces over 90% of the world's heroin today. The country is what's termed a "narco-state." Subsequently, the Taliban has found refuge in Pakistan for training and recruiting, the result of Musharraf's "peace agreement" with them before he was ousted. Unless you've forgotten, Pakistan has nukes and IRBMs, and should the crazies manage a coup, all bets are off.

It appears that, if you've served in the armed forces or worked in the defense industry, you were cleared for nothing higner than rumor.
