Gee, knuckle dragger, I see that you forgot what the Crawford Catastrophe bequeathed Obama:
a) 2 wars, one of necessity (Afghanistan, permitted to become the world's #1 opium producer after your boy failed to nail bin Laden at Tora Bora in Dec., 2001, and the other, Iraq, justified by a web of lies. How was Saddam going to produce a "mushroom cloud" over a US city when there was no evidence at all of the massive physical complex needed to separate uranium isotopes?)
b) the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression, a deep recession which began before Obama took office.
(I fault Obama for not being more aggressive in allocating stimulus money for job creation than he has, even to the point of establishing a new WPA and CCC. I also fault him for having the likes of Larry Summers as one of his economics advisers. Summers is an investment banking deregulation advocate).
c) total obstructionist nihilism by the Republican members of Congress and Obama's futile attempts at bi-partisanship. Unless you're the inattentive boob I think that you are, you might wonder just why some of the most vicious attacks on Obama and his policies come from the likes of Senators Jim DeMint, Tom Coburn, Jim Inhofe, Saxby Chambliss and David Vitter. Hint: they're all white southerners. A white Congressman from Georgia, Lynn Westmoreland, called Obama "uppity." I lived in the Old South for a couple of years prior to the Civil Rights Act. "Uppity" always preceded the word, "nigger."

The other night in Nashville, the kick-off speaker for the Tea Party convention was ex-Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo, who was musing about the need for new civics-literacy tests. Before the Civil Rights Act, such tests were used to disenfranchise Black Americans who wanted to vote. They were part of white supremacists' Jim Crow laws---such as separate drinking fountains for blacks and whites, separate sections in movie theaters for blacks and whites, etc. Tancredo's grandparents were Italian immigrants, and with his height, physiognomy and swarthy complexion, Tancredo would have been discriminated against in many cities and suburbs in the US 70 years ago.
