A Nation Deceived: Christianity: Satan’s Deception

Man’s greatest fall is soon to come to pass as the final days of God’s creation unfolds revealing the final hours of deception perpetrated upon us by Satan. Satan, the master of lies, as the Christians today refer to him, has begun one of the greatest deceptions ever planned- the one of leading the hearts of the whole earth away from God, the Father.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the
dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in
heaven, And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him. (Revelations 12: 7-9 King James Version)
The Holy Bible also says that Satan would in the last days deceive even the elect of God, the Father, if it were possible and there would be a great apostasy.
Having been cast from heaven, Satan began his greatest deception. How was the serpent to accomplish the one thing he desired most; to turn the rest of heaven from God, the Father? He began with the slow teaching of incorrect history. He blinded the hearts of men and closed the eyes and ears of those who remained with God, the Father. The Holy Bible says that those who have spiritual ears and eyes will see the truth.
Jesus is the deception that Satan cultivated to deceive. Research from the Roman Church (The Greatest English Classic, MCMXII) on how Satan developed his deception can be found in the most widely accepted tools--the Holy Bible. Today, there are many versions of the Holy Bible containing sixty-six books which most of the Christian world holds as the authority on God, the Father, and His dealing with mankind. Christians’ existence has been spent attempting to make the Holy Bible speak the modern language and in so doing have lost some of its meaning. Is it a fairy tale of men’s imaginations or is it the inspired word of God, the Father? It is both; yet, it is considered to be authoritative doctrine.
The Roman Church, at the insistence of Constantine in 325 A. D., gathered the Nicene Council together to organize what was to become the accepted authority on God, the Father. The result is the Holy Bible which contained seventy books. Later King James would authorize the English translation/transliteration of the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible and what the Church teaches are partially contradictory to each other. The Roman Church from which all other Christian churches have been birthed teaches God incarnate in Jesus. God, the Father, is taught to have left heaven and become flesh in Jesus. The church uses the scriptural reference of John 1:1 in teaching that the Word was both, God, the Father, and Jesus. The Roman Church and most of the Christian subparts of the mother church teach the Trinity or the Godhead; God being three-in-one, as God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. God, the Father, an invisible power, left heaven, took the form of man in the body of Jesus, died, and remained with us as the Holy Ghost (Catholic Encyclopedia, 2006).
The Holy Bible has several verses which are misconstrued as a reflection of Jesus referring to Himself as God, the Father. He speaks to those with him teaching them they could see God, the Father, in Him, as He is one with the Father found in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.” The works He produced, with God the Father’s influence, allowed one to see God the Father. Today it is said that one should so live as to let others see God, the Father, in their lives, yet this does not make a person God, the Father, nor did it make Jesus the Father when He referred to the same influence.
Now turn to how this great deception came to fruition. Stepping outside the Holy Bible as written--outside of church dogma and looking at new discoveries with the help of archaeology in the eastern sector of the globe as new writings are discovered. In 1947 the Dead Seas Scrolls were discovered. These scrolls were written for the sole purpose of being used by their writers and have been left unedited or revised; therefore, they are said hold the truth. This new work contained greater insight into the Jewish wars and Jesus.
The Dead Sea Scrolls, in the records titled The War Scrolls, clearly link Jesus to the wars and the group of Judean fighters known as Zealots. The War Scrolls brought to light the kittim or the Romans and showed the Zealots would die before serving Rome. While concurring with Baigent’s research on the Dead Sea Scrolls, my research showed the Zealots were not fighting only to take back the land; it was a religious war in which they wanted to gain control over the temple. The high priests during this time in history were appointed by Herodian leaders; corrupt men who polluted the temple. The Zealots were fighting to have the legitimate bloodline of Aaron in the priesthood. Jesus was born to this heirship position just as He was born to fulfill the Kingship of the nation of Israel. The Rule of the Community gives us information referring to the priesthood and to the king of Israel, as Messiahs of Aaron and Israel. The title Messiah of Aaron referred to the priesthood and the title Messiah of Israel referred to the king of the nation of Israel; and both referred to the Messiahs they awaited. The Dead Sea Scrolls provide a view of Jesus’ role in both arenas--political and religious; however, we must go first and see how they were to be played out.
His birth according to the Gospels in the Holy Bible would place him in line for both the Messiahs previously mentioned. Jesus was the King of Israel through the bloodline of Joseph; Joseph having been a direct descendant of David. Jesus, heir to the priesthood, was the religious Messiah through Mary; Mary having been a direct descendant of Aaron (Mathew 1:1, 16; Luke 1:5, 36; 2:4).
Focusing on the dual Messiah, high priest and king, (bani mashiach in Hebrew), the Zealots looked for Him to lead them to victory; conversely, to accomplish all these expectations Jesus knew He had to gain public acceptance. Old Testament prophecy lay before Jesus and with direct intent to gain their acceptance Jesus used those prophecies. He rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey fulfilling the words of the prophet Zachariah; nevertheless, many who were self-appointed caretakers of the orthodox story fought with all might to act as if Jesus’ acceptance were divinely set. A conclusion could be drawn that the fear of the truth altering the Gospels, the figure of Jesus, and history made those caretakers keep the truth in the background and not the foreground of this controversy; yet, later at the trial they plainly speak out and say Jesus should die by the Jewish law because he had made himself the Son of God.
John 11:56-57 shows a slight hint towards the plan Jesus arranged in order to gain the public’s admiration. John wrote many people who were in Jerusalem for the Passover looked for Jesus expectantly as if Jesus would come to the temple knowing there were orders for His arrest. Pilate, knowing the truth about Jesus, would have made the crowds aware as recorded in John 12:12-13. John recorded the people heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem so they took palms and went to greet Him.
No matter how you choose to look at the scene, Jesus entered into Jerusalem deliberately, with full intent to do all the right things to have Himself recognized as the Messiahs, the anointed one; but herein remained another issue--when had He been anointed? Three of the Gospels tell of no anointment prior to His coming into the city of Jerusalem. If no anointment had taken place prior to this point; how then was He the Messiahs? John’s Gospel tells Jesus was anointed six days prior to the Passover, six days prior to entering Jerusalem. Entering the temple and driving out the money changers gained him recognition as the Messiahs; yet, further recognition came when the lame and the blind approached to be healed. The children cried, “Hosanna to the Son of David.” Thrice He fulfilled the prophecy of the Old Testament as now shown in Psalms 8:1-2, “your majesty chanted by the mouths of children”, and in the words “for Wisdom opened the mouths of the dumb and gave speech to the tongues of babes” (Wisdom 10:21). When challenged, Jesus used these prophecies to refute his challengers.
The Zealots--so committed to the cause of Israel--would rather die than to serve Rome; wars raged and many Zealots--with their families--committed suicide in order to die pious. Jesus put a twist in their zeal by telling them to pay the tax due to Rome because it meant nothing; it was not of the kingdom, the true kingdom, and the reply of Jesus enraged Zealots. The Zealots shouted to release a murderer and crucify Jesus as they stood and rejected the Messiahs--the Messiahs they had so long awaited.
By 135 A. D., Hadrian had but one dream; that being the annihilation of all Judea (Palestine). Over the next two generations Israel gained the right to celebrate all of their religious rules or beliefs. All this should have made the Israeli history a sure thing, with the man Jesus in his rightful place; nevertheless, it did not. The Jewish wars raged on until 70 A. D. and the temple of Jerusalem lay in ruin.
Reaching a point of clearer understanding of the magnitude of the dual role of Jesus, look at His crucifixion. The Holy Bible tells us that Pilate washed his hands before the people signifying he had washed himself free from the responsibility of Jesus’ death; still, looking closer note that Pilate, at the same time, commanded his soldiers to leave the sign King of Kings over the head of the man Jesus (Mathew 27, 37). Why? Pilate knew the truth of Jesus; and Pilate knew absolutely Jesus was the promised Messiahs. The birth records and the records of the Kings held the truth of Jesus’ lineage. Pilate knew Jesus was born to be the true King of the Jews. His wife had warned him to not harm the Jesus because she had been told in a dream all things concerning Jesus (Matthew 27: 19).
Until the believed crucifixion, Jesus was a Jew. Once He was removed from the scene and with no reminders due to the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple, a manipulation of the history began. A new movement formed centered on Jesus rather than on God, the Father. Pagan influence of those converted to the movement lead to a change from Jew audience to pagan (Gentiles as they were known, both Roman and Greek). This new movement later became known as Christianity when the Jesus of faith emerged from the Jesus of history. Jesus of history had spoken of God, the Father and delivered a divine message from God, the Father; however, He never Himself claimed to be God, the Father.
The world within which Jesus was born and lived was the connection between a time when belief was everything; and the wrong belief, in the wrong context could bring about sudden death; either from the Romans via crucifixion or from the Zealots (Sicarii) via lethal dagger. Concurring with Baigent, few historical events have found their way into the Gospels; yet those that did were sanitized, censored, and often inverted views of the Roman Church. The Romans had done all in their power to expunge all political content from what was being written to become the New Testament; yet, with all the removal of Jesus of history from the work, the most pernicious removal was Jesus from his Jewish context. John, the only Gospel writer who retained some of the historical Jesus wrote:
The Jews fetched stones to stone him, so Jesus said to them, ‘I have done many good
works for you to see…for which of these are you stoning me?’ The Jews answered him,
‘We are not stoning you for doing a good work but for blasphemy: you are only a man
and you claim to be God.’ Jesus answered, ‘Is it written in your Law: I said, you are gods? So the Law uses the word gods of those to whom the word of God was addressed’ (John 10: 31-35).
Between the time Jesus spoke these words found in the Gospel of John, and the end of the first century A. D., Jesus had been made Christian. Being Christian meant following rules far removed from those the Jesus of history followed--those of Judaism.
The dialogue between the second-century church father, Justin Martyr and a Jewish teacher named Trypho, makes a point that those who affirm [Jesus] to have been a man, and to have been anointed by election, and then to have become Christ, appear to speak to me more plausibly. Trypho further challenged Martyr in order to prove the point by stating, Answer me then, first, how you can show that there is another God besides the Maker of all things; and then you will show [further,] He submitted to be born of the Virgin (Dods, Reith, Pratten, 1867).
In researching Justin’s writings for several years, my own thoughts matched those of Justin; Christ was the only important thing in my life and the need to prove or disprove His relationship to God, the Father. The only important thing to Justin was his belief in Christ. It could bring him salvation and it could bring salvation to anyone else no matter if they kept the Sabbath or were circumcised, or kept any part of Judaism. The Jewish law and the Jesus of history had now been left far behind (Baigent, 2006).
In one of the most illuminating and dramatic encounters in human history, (Starbird, 1993), Jesus said to Pilate: “For this was I born, and for this have I come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of truth listens to my voice.” Pilate’s reply to this was: “Truth? What is that?’’
Many picture Jesus as the fair-haired, fair-skinned blue-eyed European; nevertheless, this He was not, Jesus was a dark-skinned, black-haired, blue-eyed Palestinian. Jesus was born when there was no New Testament and certainly no Christianity; in fact, there were no Christian writings until near the second century after Jesus’ assumed crucifixion. Even then the Christians had to wait two more centuries before there was an agreed upon text. The period of waiting for the creation of such a text makes even the most devout Christian question the divinity of the New Testament. The Jesus Papers research holds:
To an independent observer, it seems more likely not only that the New Testament was deliberately imposed upon a god who was actually quite happy with a wide expression of teachings, but that it was deliberately imposed by a group of people who wished to control the divine expression for their own profit and power. (Baigent, 2006)
Today, Christians are not being taught the most important parts of religion. They are lead to believe the scriptures in the New Testament are the divine words of God, and cannot be altered; that they are as exact now as when given by God and must not be taken any other way except literally. Modern Christians are not taught that for one hundred fifty years after Jesus that the authoritative writings were still the Old Testament. The writers of the original text in the New Testament did not set out to create this book. They merely wrote history, memoirs, usually for their own family. Today, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon), members still write journals of the religious events such as the visits of their prophet to the cities in which they live. These memoirs are used in their meetings to reflect on things taught by the prophets. They are not gospel any more than were the original text of the testaments of the Holy Bible.
Justin Martyr, the second century Christian writer, considered the Holy Scriptures to be just mere memoirs of the apostles. They were read in religious meetings in support of the teachings; but, they were not considered authoritative. Most of the works in the New Testament were written long after Jesus was gone from the scene by men who never met the Jesus of history; yet, they became the creators of the Jesus of faith (Dods, Reith, Pratten, 1867).
Look at some crucial questions to which the answer can be found by those with spiritual ears and eyes: Did Jesus exist at all or was He simply a man of fiction? Is there proof outside the teachings of the religious institutions? Was He simply modeled after the gods of the Greeks and the Romans? The word Jesus is Aramaic which meant: Yeshua, Joshua, the Deliverer, or the Savior. Jesus could just be a title that this man acquired. Christ, from Christos, the Greek translation of the Aramaic word, Meshiha, meant the Anointed One; yet, there is no record inside the New Testament that can be historically sound; therefore, an outside source was sought to find a record that might indicate the existence of Christ or the Christians. All the records of Herod and Pilate were gone; however, in Rome were found two records--one from the historian Tertullian (c. A. D.160-225) and the other from the historian Tacitus (c. A. D. 55-120). Their records made mention of the group called Christians. Seemingly, there existed Jesus Christos--the Messiahs--due to the matter of fact writings of the Roman historians as is shown by Baigent in The Jesus Papers.
Many people began making Christianity a centrally located, centralized religion of faith. Irenaeus, in Against Heresies, clearly knew Gnostics would lead away the members from churches which were beginning to form. Even with his flawed ideas of religion, Irenaeus began organizing the first of the writings which would become the New Testament. Baigent, in fact, says Irenaeus was the one who created the identity of the One Divine God, Jesus, as both the Son and the Eternal Creator, who was God, the Father. Over the next three centuries, the Jesus of faith took victory over the Jesus of history, and by the fifth century the Jesus of history had all but disappeared.
The mythical entwinement of the two figures of Jesus later became theologically accepted and justified as truth; nonetheless, as with the pagan emperors before them, the keepers of the orthodoxy were plagued in their mind by heretic thoughts and like the pagan emperors they began centuries of campaigns eradicating anyone who opposed this new Jesus of faith. Inquisitions, Rome’s power in the church, formed and were the bearers of death. Baigent (2006) states:
The historical Messiah had been long forgotten--what mattered now was the Vatican’s
Christ. The pathetically crucified figure became the justification of last resort for an exponentially increasing number of rules and regulations that affected every life and every part of life.
Little hope remained in turning the Vatican’s position which was considered the only path to truth--a path built on the quest for power and control--a path filled with blood that centered on the figure of a mythical Jesus Christ and which bears little relation to the Jesus of history who was crucified as a political activist--a terrorist--a Zealot by Pontius Pilate.
In today’s arena of religion, The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, who are at the very center of the Vatican’s command, maintain the same point of view as its forefathers--the Inquisition-- to guard the Vatican’s secrets and to calm the Vatican’s greatest fear of the emergence of the truth, the one evidence that would separate the two figures of Jesus, the one of faith and the one of history, and show the truth; that Jesus was not God, the Father, as the Council of Nicaea said but just a man. Baigent concludes that Jesus is mere man--totally mortal; yet, it is possible He is the Son of God by miraculous birth. The search for truth in a world filled with dishonesty and a lack of integrity leaves the common-class people little hope to distinguish the truth; after all, what is the truth? Churches are filled with pastors whose lives should be so Christ-like; yet, they are involved in the world of gambling, alcoholism, adultery, and child abuse. They stand in the pulpits and sing songs to Jesus having left far behind God, the Father. What is the truth? Is God incarnate in Jesus? Is Jesus only a man? Is Jesus the Son of God? The answer can be found by looking at the man, born the Son of God, to bring us the divine message which God, the Father, sent so many times before through His prophets in the Old Testament. We failed to follow the words of the prophets; and so in one last effort to get us to become a loyal nation of God, the Father, God, the Father, sent His Son, Yeshua, Joshua, Jesus the Christ, to bring the final divine message.
Christians use the following verses when speaking of God in reference to having sent Jesus to earth:
And it came to pass of those days, as he taught, the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priest and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto Him saying, Tell us by what authority doest thou these things? … And Jesus said unto them Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. Then He began to speak to the people this parable; A certain, man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandman, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandman beat him and sent him away empty. And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do: I will send my beloved son it may be they will reverence him when they see him. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance be ours. So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? (Luke 20:1-2, 7-15).
Just as the husbandmen, Christians killed the true Jesus, the Jesus of history, the Son of God, and created in the Jesus of faith a new God.
Nevertheless, Satan’s influence did not end here. Rome today continues to hide the truth. Archaeologists, with modern technology, are discovering the truth; and the powers behind Rome, through the Vatican, continue to keep the scrolls locked in vaults beneath their city to prevent the revealing truth. Baigent personally witnesses new scrolls kept secret in fear of Rome. The world of Christianity would be shown as the false religion--built on lies and secrets. Digs show new records of the truth; and this truth leads those with spiritual eyes and ears to the one place on Earth which seems to hold these records--Egypt.
The Holy Bible states out of Egypt I will call my Son. Why? Jesus did not die at the planned crucifixion. New records and the Greek Bible confirm that the living body of Jesus of history was taken from the cross by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus and placed in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. Original Greek text was written soma, the living body of Jesus of history was ask to be removed from the cross, yet Pilate replied the ptoma body could be removed; yet how could this have been? The Vulgate, the Latin Bible translates soma and ptoma of the Greek Bible to only one form, corpus, dead body. Herein exist the deception by Rome to hide the truth of Jesus of history’s survival. The secret was now hidden. How could Jesus of history be alive? One of the stories told of Pilate in the Holy Bible tells of the dream of the wife of Pilate in which she is visited by angels who tell her to warn Pilate to not harm Jesus of history. Findings tell this story: Pilate helped Jesus of history to live by having his soldier drug Him with opium and belladonna. The Holy Bible shows the same story as Jesus thirsted and so they gave Him vinegar to drink (Schonfield, 1977). They did not break His legs as was the normal tradition. They pierced His side, a spleen maybe, which even at this point in history are recorded instances of surgery for such injuries. The Holy Bible tells where Joseph and Nicodemus took myrrh, used to stop bleeding, and other spices to heal Jesus of history. Neither drug was used in the embalming of bodies (Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56). The Qur’an (Woman 4:155-158)) of the Muslims’ faith, Islam, says, “ونفي الحقيقه ونطق كذبه كبري ضد ماري. واعلن : لقد اتخذنا الي الموت ، والمسيح عيسي ابن مريم ، وابلستلي الله. ولم يكن قتله ، ولا هتي تصلب له ، ولكن ان فعلوا.” Translated to English it states they did not crucify him; they did not cause his death on the cross.
The location of the cross, the tomb, and the Garden of Gethsemane are in Kidron Valley. The Holy Bible says the crowds were at a distance; was this a private execution (Luke23:49)? Had Pilate obeyed the angels? Further study of new records indicated Pilate had listened to his wife’s pleas and secured Israel’s history by saving the Jesus of history--the true King of Kings and high priest of the Jewish religion--Lord of Lords. Now if all this is true, what then of this mere mortal man--Jesus of history? Egypt holds the answer, as do France, Italy (Rome), Judea (Palestine) and Babylon (Iraq). There are continuing archaeological finds due to modern technology that shed light on this deception of Satan; fulfilling his own angry words, those spoken as he was cast forth from God, the Father that he would turn the hearts of the whole world from God, the Father. Looking at the political arena of the world today--the war in Iraq and the increasing wars now in Palestine--one must begin to look inward first, then outward, at the events and ask: Where do these fit in the search for the truth? For now, no answer is exact; yet, the Holy Bible says in the last days Jesus of history will return, and Satan will lose. The battlegrounds are set, the end has been told (Revelations). Now we wait and watch as the rest of the truth unfolds.
