Subject: That 3rd one is part of Dublin Castle isn't it? Ha, that's what mine are labled anyway...maybe I'm wrong *g* Kilmainham, once we finally found it (haha) was very very moving and sad. Especially the simple, single crosses at either end of the Stone cutters yard. >>>>>>

  • Did you get to see Kilmainham Cindy? There are actually 2 crosses, one at either end. The one in Carla's picture is where all but one of the men were executed. The last one executed, James Connolly I think...was majorly wounded and had to be brought to the jail in an ambulance and tied to a chair in order to be shot.
