Company Description:
Founded in 1996, Evare LLC is a Massachusetts-based financial services technology company
that provides systems connectivity, data aggregation and normalization, and desktop applications
to asset managers, broker/dealers, custodial institutions, banks, corporations, and their
respective clients. The company specializes in information and link management services that
adapt to the systems, processes, and message formats with which clients on both ends of a
transaction are most comfortable, enabling them to achieve internal and external straight-through
processing (STP) quickly, easily, and cost-effectively.
Position Overview:
The Service Design group at Evare seeks an Analyst who will be responsible for many facets of
implementing new clients, and data provider links link. The scope of responsibility entails all
integration tasks from the point of pre-sales through production implementation. The candidate
will interface internally with Service Delivery Engineers, Sales, Quality Assurance, Relationship
Management, and MIS. The candidate will interact externally with clients, banks, brokers,
investment managers, and vendors.
In addition, the analyst will be required to attend prospective client Sales meetings to ensure
detailed data discussions are supported adequately by a financial expert. As a result of these
meetings, it is required that the analyst document data specifications, answer client questions/
concerns, as well as formulate a proposed data solution. This process will culminate in the
specification document for the clients implementation, and will either be submitted to Technology
for Development, or will be created by the delivery engineers.
Responsibilities:
Interact with Brokers, Investment Managers, Banks to analyze data format and delivery
methods, ensuring they meet Evare/ client requirements
Manage the implementation of financial links (both from banking institutions as well as
clients) to the Evare Data Network
Identify and manage internal resources required for link completion
Develop and implement project plans; participate in project estimation, scheduling, and
management
Interact with business and technical people at banks, brokers, Investment Managers,
vendors, and other financial related institutions.
Identify and resolve data and implementation issues
Assist QA in testing client formats
Document administrative and production support procedures for implemented link
Respond to production issues/ questions that have been assigned to you
Qualifications:
5+ years in banking operations experience
2+ years project and management experience
2+ years client facing experience
Strong knowledge of Trade Settlement process, Fixed Income processing, and account
reconciliation processing
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
BS/BA or equivalent experience
Experience with financial data for analysis, accounting or portfolio management functions
Specific experience with securities industry processing
Experience with SWIFT formatting and message standards, FIX Protocol, BAI2, other
financial industry standards a plus
