Subject: PAGEANT MOMS, DIRECTORS NEED YOUR HELP! I apologize for this lengthy post..

Ok I need some advice about something that we can't get resolved. DH said today if we could afford it, we would hire a lawyer. I am tempting to call one we used in the past to see what they would say.

DD entered a local scholarship pageant. 5 girls in her group. Come pageant day all 5 girls go see the judges for personal interview. A few hours later the pageant starts. The 20 girls have practiced for over a month a dance that was supposed to be judged. One of the girls who is in dd's groups says she can't go on. Was crying so her and her mom took all her stuff and left. The pageant goes on. Mean time no one has seen this girl since they left. Until crowning, then she appears and they crown her before anyone else. Then bring out the other four grils and crown them. The girls who did not place were supposed to be given a flower. The other 2 girls were thrown their flower in the dressing room. They keep saying she had a medical condition and was accomodated. But no proof was given. Also how do you judge onstage performance and and evening gown when you don't go onstage? Is this legal? Nobody kept her from entering or going stage, but herself and mother.
