• To be honest, why does it matter the condition of the child? If you had a child with psych issues then you would understand! I am sure there were some sort of rules laid out for the pageant... and like most there is in there somewhere that things can be changed at the directors discression... the child didn't wind, so why are you trying to rain of their parade? did it take anything from your child?   • Excuse me your spelling is bad. But you said the child didn't win? Uh yes she did . There were bylaws and they were not folowed. The bylaws state they cannot deduct points from the child. The child didn't not go onstage. So that means she could not receive any points, So she could not have had more points then anyone else. I would not take special treatment for my child.     • possibly you should check your own spelling (excuse the fact that i had a typo)... like i said children as well as people in the world are given exceptions when they are special needs! you are acting as though she won the pageant! mother's like you are what gives pageant moms a bad name!       • EXCUSE ME! I am the one who knows how to run a pageant, If you knew how to read she did win the pageant. She won $500 and did not have more points then the other 4 girls in the pageant.   • We all have been to pageants that were screwed up. Welcome to the club! The only thing you can do is never give them buiness again, tell everyone you know the problem, and write them a typed letter stating your feelings, have it sent registered ail(so they have to sign for it) and demand your money back. If you don't get, stike it up to researching your choice of pageants a little better.     • Also, if you cause too much of a stink and the directors tell other directors about it, people may start to think you are just one of those crazy Pageant moms who thinks their child should win all the time, and forbid you entry into their pageants in your area.         • Talk to the director and see what she says. If the issue doesn't get resolved, you MAY be able to get the matter resolved in small claims court as long as you have proof.
